Why Jewelry as a Gift?

Why Jewelry as a Gift?

Yesterday, my husband and I were having a debate about Christmas shopping and gift giving. If you know my husband, he is the worst kind of gift-giver--meaning he does not have a clue what to get you-- I chalk this up to him not being very materialistic. Since I work at a jewelry store, he has given me one piece of jewelry over our nine years of being together (that includes the wedding ring and engagement ring that I designed). He brought up why you should buy jewelry as a gift for someone. I scoffed at this and then thought a little bit deeper. Jewelry is a very personalized thing, whether understanding what color metal your partner wears, whether they enjoy colored stones, or whether they even have their ears pierced.

I have decided to come up with a gift-giving guide!
